No.57/2006 Restrictions on scheduled power plant outages
Nord Pool Spot has received the following information from Statnett:
Statnett hereby announces restrictions on power plant outages in Norway during the 2006/ 2007 winter season.
To maintain the best possible power balance in the system, we are imposing a restrictive policy on scheduling generator outages in Norway for the period 1 November 2006 through 9 March 2007.
Before any maintenance outages can be instituted, Statnett’s national control centre must be contacted for final approval.
These restrictions are implemented in accordance with section 17 of the rules and regulations governing the responsibilities of the transmission grid operator.
