No.58/2006 Change to user-defined block bids in Elspot

User-defined block bid in Elspot was introduced on 10 March 2004. User-defined Blocks must currently span a minimum of four consecutive hours and participants have been given the opportunity to define the block’s start and end hours themselves.

From 30 October 2006, the minimum of consecutive hours to be included in a block bid will be reduced from 4 to 3 hours.

Detailed information on how to create user-defined blocks is available at: http://elweb.nordpool.no

It is also possible to submit user-defined block bids using EDIEL.
