No.03/2008 Period for direct publishing of UMMs extended

As of 15 January 2008, Nord Pool Spot will extend the period during which participants can publish their urgent market messages (UMMs) directly to the market.

Currently, all UMMs published between CET 07.00 a.m. and 08.00 p.m. have to be approved by the desk personnel at Nord Pool Spot’s trading desk before being published on the Nord Pool websites. Between CET 08.00 p.m. and 07.00 a.m. the participants may publish their UMMs directly without the approval of Nord Pool Spot.

As of 15 January 2008, the period for direct publishing of UMMs will be extended. Participants may publish their UMM directly between CET 04:00 p.m. and 08:00 a.m. This arrangement will apply for a trial period of two months after which it will be evaluated before a permanent implementation.
 
As before, Nord Pool Spot trading desk (at +47 6752 8010) will be available for questions regarding writing and publishing UMMs.
