No.31/2007 Introduction of GLN/EAN codes for identification of EDI-partners
This message contains important information to all Elspot participants using the EDI format when sending and/or receiving EDI messages.
It has been decided by the responsible authorities in Norway to use GLN-codes (Global Location Number) for identification of partners when exchanging EDI messages. Currently it is the Business Register Number which is used for EDI-identification for each party.
This change will take effect from Thursday 31. May 2007 at 15:00.
Participants sending and/or receiving EDI-messages need to use the following identification codes for Nord Pool Spot
UNB-segment: 7080000739189:14
UNH-segment: 7080000739189::9
There will be no changes in the routing addresses in the UNB-segment, thus the Elspot bids shall still have the routing address “SPOTMARKED” as before.
