No.34/2008 Elbas intra-day market in Norway postponed - new date January 2009

In exchange information no 33/2007 Elbas intra-day market for Norway was announced to open during the first half of 2008.

Introduction of Elbas require changes in Reg. No 448 of 7 May 2002: ‘Regulations relating to the system responsibility in the power system’. These changes will be part of an official consultation process planned for 1 July 2008 by the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE).

A decision is expected in December 2008. The new schedule for the opening of the Elbas market in Norway is January 2009, subject to the approval of the Norwegian authorities.
