No.11/2009 Siw Hauge new Director Communications of Nord Pool Spot

Nord Pool Spot today announced that Siw Hauge has joined the company as director communications.

Siw Hauge comes from Nokia where she was responsible for communication around strategy, the acquisition and integration of Trolltech into Nokia. Prior to that, Hauge headed PR in Europe for Trolltech. She also has worked at the head office of the Orkla Group where she was in charge of corporate I*nets.

“The Nordic power exchange Nord Pool Spot caters for more than 70 per cent of the energy consumption in the Nordic region, the highest market share amongst non-mandatory power exchanges. We are now in the process of creating a power exchange in the UK, in cooperation with NASDAQ OMX Commodities, which will double our market. I will be responsible for stakeholder management, company reputation and branding in Nord Pool Spot,” says Siw Hauge.
