No.05/2007 Trading volume record at Nord Pool Spot
(Lysaker, 23 January 2007) On Monday 22 January 2007, the daily trading volume at Nord Pool Spot AS' Elspot market exceeded 1 TWh for the first time.
The turnover for Monday 22 January 2007 was 1003.5 GWh.
We are very pleased with the development in the Elspot market. The volume traded at Nord Pool Spot now represents more than 70% of the Nordic consumption, says Jørn Limann, CEO at Nord Pool Spot AS.
